What are the delivery dates?
2026 Order and Delivery dates are:
SPRING DROP-INS Order by April 3 for delivery Friday April 10
SUMMER DROP-INS Order by June 5 for delivery Friday June 12
FALL DROP-INS Order by September 3 for delivery Friday September 11
WINTER DROP-INS Order by November 1 for delivery Friday November 13
Where is the delivery area?
We deliver to Baltimore’s Inner Harbor Neighborhoods, including Canton, Patterson Park, Fells Point, Harbor East, Federal Hill, and Locust Point. If you’re not sure that you’re in our delivery area, just email us at Hello@ChesapeakeSeasonalPlanters.com
Can I choose the flowers?
This is the fun part! Trust us to know what will look great and grow well at your house.
Let our designers choose the healthest plants available each season, and delight you with a bespoke combination of annuals and perennials just for you. We work hard to create vibrant, long-lasting displays that evolve beautifully through the season, and source them from multiple growers to be certain you get the very best.
Is there a warranty on the plants?
If you find any plant is damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, and we’ll replace the plant or offer a partial credit. While we choose hardy plants, all plants need watering and basic care, so after that time refunds or replacements are not available. In addition to the easy care tips on the site, we’re even around for questions as you get to know your flowers, just ask!
What if I have delivery instructions?
When you order, look for the “Notes” section during checkout, and add your special instructions. Or contact us by email at Hello@ChesapeakeSeasonalPlanters.com. Just be sure to include your name and address in any contact outside of the “notes.”
What is a Drop-In pot?
Our Drop-In Planters are sturdy 3 gallon black nursery pots made from 100% recycled plastic, the most common size to drop easily into your decorative pots.
These drop-in pots look nice on their own, but you can always treat yourself to a new pot from our collection, or drop it into your favorite decorative pot. The inside dimensions of your pot should be at least 12″ across the top, 10″ across the bottom, and 10 inches tall.
If I order 2+ will they match?
If you’d like the classic look of a matching planter on each side of the door, we get it! You’ll find the option for matching planters is a drop-down selection required in the ordering process. If you are ordering a whole garden of planters, feel free to use the “Notes” during ordering to let us know how you’d like them, or email us at Hello@ChesapeakeSeasonalPlanters.com
What exactly is 'Sun vs Shade'?
“Sun” means the spot gets 6+ hours of full sun each day. Your roof deck is full sun. If you are placing a planter on a covered porch, you’re likely to be in need of a “Shade” planter. You’ll find the option for sun needs is a drop-down selection required in the ordering process. Can I order as a gift?
We’d be delighted to deliver your order to another address for gift giving. Just use the “Notes” during ordering to let us know the address to deliver to (within our delivery map) or email us at Hello@ChesapeakeSeasonalPlanters.com. We’ll text the photo of the planter to you on the porch of the delivery address as it is delivered.
